Pink City to witness an exciting polo season this February

Pink City, the leading destination for Polo in the country, will once again witness exhilarating polo matches as this year’s Jaipur Polo Season is all set to begin from 1 February at the Rajasthan Polo Club. Usually held in January, this year the season witnessed a slight delay owing to the spike in Covid-19 pandemic, the travel restrictions induced by it as well as the extreme cold. To be held till 27 February, this year too there will be several tournaments, exhibition matches as well as initiatives to promote polo for ladies as well as the new players. Below are the highlights of the Jaipur Polo Season 2022:

When Divyansh started beat boxing some 12 years ago while studying in school, he didn’t even know what it is called or if an art form like this exists. Divyansh Kacholia, who is now not only a force to reckon with in the industry but has also popularly emerged as India’s First Folk Beat Boxer. For the uninitiated, Beat Boxing is a form of vocal percussion primarily involving the art of mimicking drum machines, using one’s mouth, lips, tongue, and voice.

Meet Rajasthan’s first female dog trainer and the only canine behaviourist in the state — Priyanshi Singh Shekhawat. Eight years ago, Priyanshi had just returned to Jaipur from Mumbai after getting a degree in Economics and was unsure about what to do with her life. “I was quite depressed as I didn’t particularly like the work environment in Jaipur and I couldn’t understand what career path to pursue. I was talking to my then boyfriend (now husband), Shardul and a random conversation about my love for dogs led me to pursue a career in this field. I did two courses with Shirin Merchant, who is a pioneer in the field of canine behavior and training in India and that’s how my journey as a dog trainer and behaviourist began.”
