Get ready for the biggest dance event in town on 30 April

Reading Time: 2 minutes

Jaipur is all set to host its 3rd Annual Ballet Exposé on 30 April at Birla Auditorium. As many as 70 participants will be performing to ballet and salsa dance forms on authentic Latin and Bollywood tunes as well as to Scherzo Classical music. The event is being organised by Jaipur’s dance studio, Stripes Inc., Shree Cement Ltd., We Care, Raghu Sinha Mala Mathur Charitable Trust and Adbhut Jewels.

This year’s theme is ‘Get Addicted to Happiness’. The evening will begin with a fusion performance of Semi-Classical and Ballet dance forms by Laxmi Surana (Founder of Dancebelia) and Adittee Somani (Founder of dance studio Stripes Inc.), respectively. This time a unique feature of the evening will be a mother-daughter ballet performance.

Following this, performers of varying age groups will dance to well-known English tunes like ‘Sugar Sugar’, ‘Dilly Dilly’, ‘Raindrops on Roses’, ‘Daddy Cool’, ‘Skyfall’, ‘Shine’, ‘Cheap Thrills’, among others. There will also be performances on Bollywood tunes.

Stripes Inc. had introduced Ballet as a dance form for the very first time in Jaipur, two years ago. Last year they also presented the unique concept of Water Ballet in Jaipur.
