Jaipur is gonna be full of exciting events this December

Mark your calendars as Arbit brings to you a curated list of exciting events slated to be held in Pink City this month.

The Pink City dwellers are all set to bid adieu to 2021 on an eventful note as December promises to be a month full of interesting events and happenings. From art events, pop ups and exhibitions to night market, polo matches and a dog show, there’s a lot in store.  Let’s take a look at some of the unique events scheduled for the month:

Art Exhibition

‘Drishya Vistaar’ – a solo exhibition of paintings by Amit Kalla will be on display at the ICA Art Gallery located near Jal Mahal. The exhibition is the artist’s attempt to ask his audience to widen their grounds of observation and explore the expression beyond what they see. The paintings represent the various forms of nature, which serve as the artist’s greatest inspiration.

The Market Place

From health and wellness to food and art,  one can find an array of unique handmade and homemade products from homegrown brands at the weekly market at Clarks Amer. While you’re there, you can also indulge in some puppy therapy at the Help in Suffering stall at the market or attend the candle making workshop.

Exciting Polo Matches

Much to the pleasant surprise of polo lovers, the Pink City is witnessing an additional polo season this year. December will feature some exciting matches too.  The finals of the ongoing 12 goal Sternhagen Bhavnagar Polo Cup will be an exhilarating battle to witness for polo aficionados.

Hidden Treasures Pop Up

Pink City’s popular lifestyle show, Hidden Treasures is back with a day-long Winter Pop Up. From organic apparels, personal accessories to diamond, meenakari and jadau jewellery, one can shop here for a plethora of products from exquisite fashion and lifestyle labels.

Dog Show

The Kennel Club of India is organizing the Jaipur Dog Show after a hiatus of 2 years wherein dog lovers of Jaipur will be able to witness as many as 200 world class dogs. The finest specimens of breeds like Tibetan Mastiff, Alaskan Malamute, Yorkshire Terrier, Poodle, among others will participate in the show, which will be judged by KK Trivedi and T. Preetham.

Christmas Brunch

With Christmas around the corner, Café Nokha by Firangi Deli will be organizing a special Christmas themed brunch. In addition to their regular Mexican and Italian menu, eats and drinks like ginger bread cookies, plum cake, mulled tea will be on offer for the foodies of the city. Christmas carols, festive decor and santa hats will add to the bonhomie of the afternoon.

 Jaipur Jewellery Show

After a hiatus of 1 year, the 17th edition of the Jaipur Jewellery Show will be back this month. One of the most anticipated show for the Gem & Jewellery Industry across the country, it will be themed on ‘It’s Time to Sparkle’.

Night Market – Christmas Wonderland

A unique Night Christmas shopping festival is also being held in the city this month. The best of designer and festive products from across the country will be available. It will be the perfect opportunity for visitors to shop, eat and be merry!

Shift: Art and Design Pop Up

A 2-day art and design pop up ‘Shift’ will feature an open mic, games, storytelling, talks and discussions, among other interesting things. A live weaving experience by Jaipur Rugs and hip hop music by rap artist Sumit Roy will be some other attractions at the pop up.
