Music Festival of Fribourg, ‘Landwehr’ comes to Jaipur

The official wind ensemble of the canton and City of Fribourg / Freiburg in Switzerland is coming to Jaipur on 19 October from 8.30 pm onwards at Hotel Clarks Amer.

The Landwehr is the official music of the canton and city of Fribourg. Its first concerts were held in 1804. The 90 musicians who form the orchestra today are the latest in a long line of predecessors. The people of Fribourg have traditionally been singers and musicians, and the members of the Landwehr share that heritage. Formed in 1804 in Fribourg, Switzerland, this brilliant collective promises a powerful musical production.

The performance will be followed by a especially curated dining experience paired with the finest champagne.
