There will be a two-day ‘Rajasthan Startup Fest’ in Jaipur on 9 and 10 October at Jaipur Exhibition and Convention Center (JECC) in Sitapura. This event will be the first of its kind event in the State.The ‘Fest’ is being organized by Rajasthan State Industrial Development and Investment Corporation (RIICO) along with Rajasthan’s leading incubation Center, ‘Startup Oasis’ as a co-organizer. The Centre of Innovation, Incubation and Entrepreneurship at IIM Ahmedabad has joined hands as knowledge partner for the event.
The objective of this two-day national-levelstartup fest is to promote the spirit of entrepreneurship and encourage startups in the State. The fest will bring together the Startups, mentors, investors and corporates across the nation to pitch for funding, transact business, share experiences, get mentoring and showcase innovations and business models.
The event has been planned as a culmination of multiple tracks of scouting, incubation and acceleration of startups across multiple sectors. The two-day event will witness a gathering of more than 500 people including approximately 100 startups, 20 angel and venture capital investors, 30 mentors and startup coaches and 50 speakers at one platform.
During the Fest will be witnessed multiple high-energy interactions, panel discussions, conferences, knowledge sessions, mentoring sessions, product demos, business model showcases, pitches and product launches. Through this festival, the government is encouraging youth to pursue their dreams and establish the State as a pioneer startup hub through facilitation of incubation, funding, development and launch of ideas into successful businesses.
The event is also supported by a number of organizations like RajasthanVenture Capital Fund (RVCF), Villgro, Headstart India, Etailing India,Startup Weekend and Techstars among others.
