As a part of the weekend cultural and theater activities at Jawahar Kala Kendra (JKK), a play ‘Katha Sukavi Suryamal Ki’ will be staged tomorrow. The play is based on the life and literary works of the 19th century Rajasthani poet from Bundi, Suryamal Mishran (1815-1868).

Directed and conceptualised by Rajendra Panchal, the theatrical piece revolves around the Revolt of 1857. Works of Suryamal Mishran like Vansh Bhaskar, Balvad Vilas as well as other historical works have been used in the play to portray real incidents and facts.
The play will be staged tomorrow (24 September) at 7 pm at Rangayan Auditorium of JKK. The entry to the play is through tickets which can be obtained from JKK’s office.
