The dying art of Kavad making taught at JKK

Jawahar Kala Kendra’s Kavad making workshop offered participants a journey through Rajasthan’s cultural heritage, blending tradition with innovation. From centuries-old techniques to contemporary adaptations, attendees explored the rich history of this art form, celebrating the legacy of craftsmanship and storytelling in a fusion of past and present.

In the month of February, the Pink City will witness the first-ever Delphic Games of Rajasthan. To be held from 9 February to 12 February at Jawahar Kala Kendra in Jaipur, the event will feature a multitude of activities such as cultural competitions in music, dance and photography, an art camp, craft demonstrations, interactive seminars as well as talk shows.
