It is a fact undeniable that Rajasthan is a hub for tourists – both international as well as domestic. According to this weblink, literally meaning bed and breakfast in French, Le Pension is a brand new chain of Backpackers Hostels across India. Located at Shyam Nagar in Jaipur, the hostel has 6 rooms which can easily accommodate 22 people at a time. For a larger number, requisite arrangements can be made for extra bedding. A special feature of Le Pension is that apart from Private AC Suite, Deluxe Double Room, it also has 2 six bed dormitories and 1 four bed dormitory.
All the rooms are equipped with individual lockers and have an attached bathroom with hot water facility. The hostel also has a fully functional open kitchen where guests have the option to cook food for themselves. Also on the offering is a common lounge area where guests can relax and hang out.
Some of the services they provide include Free Breakfast, Free WiFi, Cable Television, Huge Terrace, Games and social nights, Laundry facilities and regular linen change. If one chooses to stay in the dormitory, the tariff is as nominal as INR 450 per person inclusive of breakfast and AC. Unbelievable, right?
It is worth noting that they have also been listed amongst India’s best backpackers hostel by the famous Outlook Traveler Magazine.
Another backpackers hostel that you can try out in the Pink City is the ‘Backpackers Panda’ at MI Road. It gives you options to choose from a 10, 8 as well as 6 bed AC dormitories. They also have on offer a 8 bed AC dormitory exclusively for females. While you can stay at a cost of INR 287 (per person per night) in the 10 bed dormitory, the tariff for the 8 bed dormitory is INR 349 (per person per night) and INR 449 (per person per night) for the 6 bed one.They also have an air conditioned private suite which one can avail for as low as INR 999 per night
