A city or a country across the globe is known for its varied culture, rich history, vast heritage and, needless to say, the local delicacies. In fact, the real essence of a place is captured by its food. Not the kind one gets in 5 star hotels or high end restaurants, but the one which is prepared and sold on the streets. To bring the popular tastes from different streets of the world, the Okra restaurant at Hotel Jaipur Marriott is hosting the ‘World Street Food Festival’ till 30 August. The festival will feature diverse types of street food from as many as 18 countries from across the globe with 9 different live counters daily. Each day cuisines of 4-5 different countries will be on offer.

The festival will have authentic street food from countries like India, USA, China, Japan, Korea, Thailand, Singapore, Morocco, Africa, Indonesia, Italy, Mexico, Spain, among others. Some of the street food items include Shabu Shabu from Japan, Potato Tornado from South Korea, Corn on the Cob from Mexico, Roast Purple Potatoes from USA and Caviar from France, Dal Baati Churma from India, among others.  While counters from India and Italy will be on daily, the kiosks of other countries will keep changing every day. And if that’s not enough there is also a wide spread of salads for the health freaks and a king size dessert counter for those who like to give in to gluttony. To wash down the luscious food, you could choose from mango lassi, iced tea or a range of teas and coffee.
