FAIRMONT JAIPUR USHERS IN THE FESTIVE SEASON WITH TREE LIGHTING AND CAKE MIXING

To celebrate the festive spirit of the holiday season, Fairmont Jaipur organized an exhilarating cake mixing and Christmas Tree lighting ceremony at the hotel recently. The who’s who of Jaipur along with bloggers and influencers of the city participated in the event with great gusto and enthusiasm.

On the occasion the age-old tradition of cake mixing came alive at the hotel. The culinary experts of Fairmont Jaipur arranged an eclectic mix of ingredients such as dried fruits, nuts, grains and spices for the guests to mix. The mixture is refrigerated until all the flavors and aromas are blended well and will be used to bake the traditional Christmas Cake. The guests donned aprons, gloves and caps to partake in this ceremony to usher in the Christmas spirit.

The cake mixing was followed by Christmas Tree lighting and choir singing by the hotel staff. Christmas songs and carols like Jingle bells, Joy to the world, Come on ring those bell, Mary’s boy child, Feliz navidad etc. were rendered which added greatly to the festive vibe of the event and were thoroughly enjoyed by the guests. The ceremony also promoted sustainability by using jute gift wrapping and dried orange peel decorations. Some other attractions of the ceremony were artificial snowfall, Rajasthani Christmas tree, rice rangoli, floating Christmas décor, toy train concept décor, and antique coin wish pond, among others.

Talking about the event, Mr. Rajiv Kapoor, General Manager, Fairmont Jaipur said, “We ushered in the holiday season with utmost elegance and were graced by the presence of the noteworthy individuals of Jaipur as well as local influencers. We were grateful to witness the thrilled faces of our guests by organizing the traditional cake mixing and tree lighting ceremony at our hotel.
