Before the summer hits its peak Jaipur has a host of events – theatre, shopping, art and culture, to offer this month. Take your pick!

Colorstrokes

Colorstrokes is a pop culture event being organized at Diggi Palace, Jaipur.
This April 2017 it is bringing its summer special edition with exclusive brands, amazing cafes and their delightful food, super talented artists with crazy music and most creative workshops all under one roof.

When: 1 – 2 April

Jaipur Kala Mahotsav

An art, design and craft fair – ‘Jaipur Kala Mahotsav’ organized by the Pratibha Educational Development Research Society, the objective of the fair is to provide a platform to budding artists and artisans to showcase their talent. Besides this, it also strives to instill amongst the general masses the sensibility to appreciate art and craft.

When: 2 – 6 April

Where: Shilpgram, Jawahar Kala Kendra.

Tattle Tales

The two-day event will witness a plethora of activities like workshops, music, a wide spread of eats and drinks and a range of apparels, accessories and bags to shop from. The main attractions of the event include workshops like baking, dance, blogging, among others. Activities like tarot reading and dream interpretation by Sanchita will also be held.

When: 7-8 April

The Tale Tellers

A bundle of Interesting Tales and a Six Word Tale Competition at 4pm. If you love listening to Tales and can also spin a small tale then do join us. Attendees get a flat 25% discount on all orders.

Cartist Automobile Art Festival

It is an annual art festival held in Jaipur. It is an initiative to promote Indian culture and art along with love for vintage cars. The basic idea of Cartist is to spread awareness among masses and classes regarding the importance of salvaging the epitome of royalty, vintage and classic cars.

When: 12 -16 April

Oh Fab Trunk Show

New heritage label created by two sisters and their common love for traditional woven textiles will host a trunk show in Jaipur. Come and see their hand-picked selection of exclusive handwoven textiles.

Ballet Expose by Adittee Somani

Jaipur will get to witness the city’s 3rd Ballet Exposé. As many as 60 participants will perform ballet and salsa dance forms to authentic Latin Bollywood tunes as well as Beethoven / Scherzo Classical music.
