This young lad from Jaipur is attempting a new Guinness World Record

A young lad from Jaipur, Ankit Arora is going to attempt a new Guinness World Record of longest cycle journey in India. He will cycle through all the 29 States and 7 UTs in India for 20,000 kms in 150 days. Previously, he has created record in India Book of Records in 2016 for the longest cycle expedition on the route of Golden Triangle. He has also bagged an International title of ‘Super Randonneur’ from France.

In his next stint of Guinness record, he will also shoot a travel documentary and write stories about the rich Indian culture. The documentary will also include some features of talented yet underprivileged children in sports across India. This stint too will be completed in the above mentioned 150 days. He leaves on 20 August ’17.

Unfortunately, not too many sponsors have come forward to support his unique endeavour whereby he will also be creating a record. There have been welcome contributions from AU Bank, RK Marbles, Spark PR and other individual donors. For the entire project a sum of Rs. 2 lakhs plus is required of which Rs. 70,000 have only come in.
